i've been addicted to you
I downloaded this song and I can't stop playing it. While K is on the "You're Beautiful" side of things, I'm lying comfortably amidst the words of "Goodbye my Lover". I'm so getting his album.
You touched my heart you touched my soul.
You changed my life and all my goals.
And love is blind and that I knew when,
My heart was blinded by you.
I've kissed your lips and held your head.
Shared your dreams and shared your bed.
I know you well, I know your smell.
I've been addicted to you.
Goodbye my lover. Goodbye my friend.
You have been the one. You have been the one for me.
Is that just brilliant or what. Okay, let's play it again...

oOo

On another note, I got a new book yesterday. It's somewhat a Dracula story. But not quite. It also some form of Hannibal in it, the reviews say. It sounded interesting. I really hope it's a good read. Because it was pretty damn expensive. I just forgot to bring it to work today. Dangit.

There's something in the pains of goodbyes that made it really excruciating yet addictive.

We hate goodbyes yet we are drawn to its parallels (songs and prose and movies alike). We like listening to lyrics of heartbreaking extents just for us to feel again the feeling of lose and pain... And it's so addictive we have to live it out again.

Me myself has been a sucker to goodbye songs before. It never fails to bring back painful riddance and farewell, yet it feels good to feel it again-- in a freaky kind of unfathomable way. I guess we like it because it reminds us that we are in fact, humans. even after the scars of experiences in our lives, we are still as vulnerable to pains within us as the next individual before us.

I wonder what withdrawal symptoms are there in this kind of addiction. Ah, love!

Five Stars* - although contains "fookingly amazing" lyrics, it's too wistful for their own good. His soulful falsetto reminds me of Rod Stewart really. More reasons for girls go gaga over this able Brit bloke.

"... and so it is.." sounds identical with Damien Rice's 'The Blower's Daughter'.

    What's with the Draculas?
